I TOOK THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED AND THAT HAS MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE - Robert Frost

Join us on this trip of a lifetime along Route 99 (Duffy Lake Road.) This scenic alternative is sure to take your breath away. As we follow this sample Itinerary along the road less travelled we encounter some of the most amazing scenery in western Canada. This picturesque, well maintain road is free of traffic congestion as it winds its way through  alpine forests, rich farmland and arid desert landscapes all in a days drive.

This trip can be done at your own pace and by various forms of transportation including vehicle, motorcycle, bus tour or rail. Some may choose to drive one way and return by train or plane.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

  • Route 99 goes north from the alpine resort community of Whistler through to the rugged cowboy and ranch country of Cache Creek and is also know as the Duffy Lake Road. This drive is approximately 3.5 hours.
  • This is the alternative route to access the interior of British Columbia without driving the busy Highway #1 over the Coquihalla and through the Fraser Valley.
