Rat’s Nest Cave – Explorer Tour

Hike 30 minutes up a mountain trail to the cave entrance. Along the trail, your guide will explain the geology of the area, how caves are formed, show you fossils & look for wildlife such as bighorn sheep, cougars or even a bear. Inside the cave, you’ll get to climb, crawl, slither and get muddy. You’ll go through the “Box”,  on to the Five Way Chamber, the Grand Gallery & finally to the Grotto, a stalactites and stalagmites chamber with a crystal clear pool at the bottom.

Spray River Horseback Ride

Departing from the Banff Springs Corral, our guides will lead you past Bow Falls, where you cross through the Spray River. Continue along the edge of the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course, and cross through the waters once more.
