Hike 30 minutes up a mountain trail to the cave entrance. Along the trail, your guide will explain the geology of the area, how caves are formed, show you fossils & look for wildlife such as bighorn sheep, cougars or even a bear. Inside the cave, you’ll get to climb, crawl, slither and get muddy. You’ll go through the “Box”, on to the Five Way Chamber, the Grand Gallery & finally to the Grotto, a stalactites and stalagmites chamber with a crystal clear pool at the bottom.
