Canadian Ski Museum West

The Canadian Ski Museum West is a free exhibit that explores Banff’s ski heritage and Canada’s great skiers. Memorabilia from Olympic skiers who have trained on local slopes is displayed as well as displays of Swiss mountain guides, the evolution of equipment, and historic backcountry ski lodges.

Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies

Founded in 1968, the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies celebrates and promotes Banff's important artistic history by offering exhibits exploring the history and culture of this rugged region. The facility is comprised of four galleries, a collection of heritage homes, a library and archives. Guided tours are available.
